Welcome to the Farewell Pages Newsletter: Turning Knots Into Bows. This morning while on a walk, I overheard a guest speaker on a podcast refer to this idea, turning knots into bows. It stuck with me because this is how my brain works: I chew on the things that trip me up until I can generate something new from them. I may not unwind the knots but I do turn them into a bow.
The goal for this newsletter is to share the alchemy that happens as I do this. To take the experiences with death, grief, life, sorrow, joy and transform them from knots into bows, using contemplation, articulation, and ultimately, communication.
